I am currently day dreaming of warmer weather and getting into the swing of things this spring with family sessions! It's my first spring in the Denver area and I can't wait to explore everything as it blooms and grows. What better way to get excited about spring than this family session from last year that includes flower crowns?? I love this family and it was so fun to shoot with them. Their kiddos, Hazel and Elias, are just the cutest!
This was such a special session for me since I have known Lindsay and Jimmy since elementary school. After all these years we live in the same area! AND we got to do their family shoot in SUCH a beautiful spot. Thank you, Lookout Mountain. You're amazing. Check out their images HERE!
I really can't say enough about our time spent with Elizabeth and Keith. The kindness that abounded between them, their friends and their family on this special day was extraordinary. Not only was it a beautiful day, I really believe they will have a beautiful marriage as well.
Thanks, Elizabeth and Keith for allowing us to take part. Blessings!Venue: Silver Oaks ChateauDress & Veil: Mia Grace BridalFlorist: Roses & Mint FloralsCake Baker: Jacob Knerr (Family Friend)Doughnuts: Harold's DoughnutsCaterer: Sugarfire SmokehouseDJ: TKOSecond Shooter: Becca Murdaugh
Recently, the folks at Basic Invite reached out to me about their product. After browsing their website, it was clear that it would be a great find for any bride - so I thought I would share about them here! They have super cute wedding invitations, inexpensive save the dates, and modern bridal shower invitations. Wedding planning can be so daunting, so having a great place with simple, but beautifully designed paper products is a resource you just can't beat.
At Basic Invite, you can keep it easy by sticking with what they have already created, or you can customize! Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options. So, you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it - down to the littlest detail.
I also love that they have Wedding Invitation Sets. Everything that you could imagine needing is included (think RSVP cards, Directions, Accomodations, Registry, Save the Date, magnets)- you just pick which elements you want and it all coordinates perfectly!

Whitney and Matt really outdid themselves with this incredibly classy, but super fun, day. Everything was so beautiful thanks to their vision and their amazing vendors (see below). I honestly didn't want to leave the reception because I was having such a good time!

Denver is certainly providing some beautiful backdrops for photo sessions and I couldn't be happier. The sweet Davis family and I explored this perfect little spot a couple of weeks ago and it was just gorgeous!

One of the reasons I love my First Year Package so much is the relationship I get to build with families. I was honored to photograph both Aubrey and Evie's first year! This session was one of my last before our family moved from Springfield to Denver and I was so sad to say goodbye to these clients turned friends. I had to hold back the tears as I pulled away!
